Our Purpose

Bringing Care Management Full Circle

Despite everyone’s best efforts, there are still critical gaps in care that many families face before and after delivery. By providing financial resources and other essential items, the ProgenyHealth Charitable Fund closes these gaps ensuring that mothers, infants, and families receive the resources they need during a very vulnerable time in their lives.

The Purpose Behind Our Fund

Our purpose is clear: to continue our legacy of good works, generosity and social responsibility, by closing gaps in care and resources for the families we serve at ProgenyHealth.

Through our collective efforts, we aim to create lasting, positive impacts on families’ health and well-being, ensuring every child has the best start in life.

Ellen Stang, The ProgenyHealth Charitable Fund

Continuing Her Passion for Helping Families

Dr. Ellen Stang founded ProgenyHealth in 2003, seeing firsthand, a very broken and fragmented system for managing the complex health care needs of high-risk newborns and their families. Through her leadership and inspiration, over the last twenty years, the company has grown steadily in the Maternity and NICU care management space.

Since the founding of ProgenyHealth, Dr. Stang had always planned on establishing a charitable fund to support the organization. From the company’s earliest days, she heard directly from our case managers how some resources for families were very difficult to fill despite their best efforts, and that gaps in care and needed resources remained.

The creation of the ProgenyHealth Charitable Fund brings Dr. Stang full circle in closing these gaps, by funding the unmet needs for families identified by our case management team. This fund is truly an extension of our important mission and daily work in supporting moms, babies and families to achieve the best possible health outcomes.
